• Many standard functions used in engineering and science are built in. Just choose the required function from the Function menu and the appropriately scaled graph will be drawn for you.
• A graph can be copied as a PICT to the clipboard by selecting Copy. It can then be pasted into any Macintosh graphics editor or word processor.
• Graphs are sized to fit the window they are drawn in. Simply resize the window by dragging and replot the graph to produce graphs of a size appropriate to your needs.
• Use New to create a new graph window. You can have as many graphs concurrently open as memory allows.
• To set up the scales and ranges of the graph, select Scales... from the Setup menu. A dialog appears which allows you to enter the parameters of both x and y axes.
• The Setup menu allows you to change virtually all aspects of the graph’s appearance, so you can create just the style you require. Most items are self-explanatory, but are fully described in the user documentation.
• To enter a function, choose Define Function... in the Function menu. GraphPlot II accepts any algebraic expression written in standard form with any level of parenthesis. Multiple variables can be defined to create multiple trace graphs. Refer to the user documentation for a full explanation.
• Graphs can be saved to disk and later recalled. Graphs placed in a folder called “User Defined” in the same folder as GraphPlot II will be added to the User Defined sub menu.
• If you received a copy of GraphPlot II without the user documentation, please write to me at the address given (including your shareware fee!) enclosing a disk and I will send you a copy. Like a lot of ‘scientific’ software, GraphPlot II is quite complex and reading the manual is an unfortunate necessity!
